CANCER CONTROL SOCIETY ANNUAL CONVENTION

The Cancer Control Society has its annual 3-day convention over Labor Day weekend at the Universal City Sheraton (Los Angeles area). Writers, researchers, doctors, survivors and others involved with 'alternative' approaches to cancer present short talks on a wide range of topics, and dozens of exhibitors offer books, films, supplements and products related to healing and preventing cancer. It's an interesting and informative cross-section of people with one common issue: handling this disease with more effective and less harmful methods than those offered in mainstream oncology practice.

For 2014 it's August 30, 31 and September 1.
